Testing Options
Researchers are discovering that allergies
may contribute to many common childhood diseases and, if left untreated,
can lead to lifelong suffering. Now there’s a safe, easy and reliable
way to test children, even the very young, for allergies. ImmunoCAP® allergy
blood test uses a single blood sample to determine if a child has
an allergy and exactly what the child is allergic to.
Early and objective allergen identification
using ImmunoCAP,
followed by the right treatment,
- can change the progress of the allergy
march1,2
- improves quality of life3
- reduces visits to the doctor’s office
- helps you avoid unnecessary antibiotics and other medications
Other testing options such
as skin and patch testing can be used for older children, but they
are not recommended for the very young.
